Students can now submit their BAföG applications entirely via smartphone: The updated BAföG Digital App is now officially available in the Apple and Google app stores. This marks the first time the entire digital application process is available on mobile devices.
Following the technical relaunch of BAföG Digital at the beginning of the year, the app now complements the existing online service with a complete mobile solution. The entire service is available in the app - from the first-time application to follow-up applications and notifications of changes, all the way to uploading documents.
Key new features of the app include improved user guidance, low-barrier form navigation, and an optimized scanning function for proofs. Documents are recognized more accurately when photographed, formatted for better readability, and are easier to upload even in larger file formats. Additionally, the app sends push notifications regarding the processing status and any documents that need to be submitted.
Login continues to be secure via BundID. For full functionality, BAföG Digital recommends login with an Online ID.
