Anyone who has already submitted an application or received a BAföG decision can, in addition to telephone consultations and in-person appointments, also contact their responsible Personal Advisor via the contact form. To ensure that enquiries can be assigned quickly, the 15-digit funding number (beginning with 111) must be provided.
The responsibilities are based on the initial letters of your surname. Name prefixes, such as al, de, van, von, Freiherr, Graf e.g. do not belong to the surname (e.g. the name von Keller belongs to the subject area Helda - Hz, I, J, Ka - Khan). Hyphenated surnames do not include a name prefix (e.g. Al-Sulaihi belongs to the subject area A, Ba - Bach).
