All BAföG application forms can be found here. You can also send us your application via mail (post) or hand-in your application personally, during our opening and speaking times. Would you like to submit missing documents? Use BAföGdigital, BAföG app or upload portal for the secure transfer of your data!
New application forms have been available since March 2025 and must always be used. If old forms are still available, they can still be used temporarily. When applying via BAföGdigital, the current forms will be used automatically.

Informal Application
Certificate of attendance at a training institution. If you have received a certificate of enrolment from your training institution in accordance with § 9 BAföG, it is valid as a substitute for this form.
Education abroad (supplementary sheet)
Reason for change of studies/drop-out of studies
Application for funding without certificate of achievement
Application for extraordinary burdens of the spouse/parents of the student
Letter of guarantee (for deferment)
Additional declaration if income tax assessment not yet available
