Exam stress, financial worries, or personal challenges during your studies: In the 2026 summer semester, TH Wildau will once again offer support through the social counselling and psychosocial counselling services provided by the Studierendenwerk West:Brandenburg.
These counselling services are aimed at students in Wildau who have questions about study financing, housing, or social benefits, or who are seeking a confidential conversation during stressful situations. Counselling is free, confidential, and helps students find suitable solutions for their daily academic life.
Social Counselling at TH Wildau: Help with Financing, Housing, and Social Issues
Social counselling in Wildau takes place on-site in front of the canteen without an appointment. At the information booth, staff from the Studierendenwerk West:Brandenburg provide advice on the following topics, among others:
- Study financing
- Job opportunities
- Residency law questions
- Studying with children
- Studying with disabilities
Psychosocial Counselling in Wildau: Support for Stress, Exam Anxiety, and Personal Problems
Psychosocial counselling at TH Wildau offers a safe space for students dealing with personal or study-related stress. Appointments are available by prior arrangement via email. Inquiries can be sent to psb@stwwb.de.
Topics covered in psychosocial counselling include, for example:
- academic issues such as exam anxiety, learning and work difficulties, or procrastination
- personal challenges such as breakups, difficulties managing daily life, or support in finding suitable therapy options
Sessions take place in Library Room 10-2.08 (glass box) on the TH Wildau campus.
