International students often face difficulties finding an affordable place to live while studying in Germany. They often don't know what options are available to them and what to look out for.
The Studentenwerk Potsdam will therefore offer an online information event for international students and applicants on the topic of housing in the residence hall and the associated application process.
Unlike in many other countries, the admission to a university does not automatically guarantee a room in the residence hall. If you are looking for a room in the residence hall, you have to apply separately. Detailed information on the offers and conditions as well as frequently asked questions about the application process can also be found on the pages of our Housing Department.
The online event will take place on Wednesday, May 3, on the video platform DFNconf and is tailored towards international students and applicants who are planning to study and live in Potsdam, Brandenburg an der Havel or Wildau. The online event will be offered in English (1:00 p.m. CEST) as well as in German (2:00 p.m. CEST) and will provide sufficient time for questions from the participants.
